Doobie Brothers lawyer slams Bill Murray over golf clothing commercial

Classic rockers the Doobie Brothers are “Takin’ It To The Streets” in a potential legal fight with Bill Murray.

The band has accused the comedy star of using its music without permission in ads for his golf apparel line in a legal letter obtained by Page Six that’s more amusing than any of Murray’s recent films.

The band’s LA power attorney Peter Paterno threatens legal action while also managing to quote from “Caddyshack,” insult “Garfield” and slam Murray’s golf gear as “so damn ugly.”

The letter alleges that Murray’s brand, William Murray, has been using the Doobies’ song, “Listen to the Music” in ads for shirts without paying up. “It’s a fine song,” the letter to Murray reads...

“Booksmart” actress Billie Lourd has announced the birth of her first child with fiancé Austen Rydell.

“Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell,” she captioned a clip of the infant’s feet posted to Instagram Thursday night. (The presence of blue hearts and a crown seem to indicate that the baby is a boy.)

If Lourd’s announcement caught you off-guard, you’re not alone. Many of the comments on the post are from similarly gob-smacked celebs, like Lourd’s “Scream Queens” co-star Emma Roberts.

Cardi B divorcing Offset to spare herself from being cheated on again

Cardi B said she is divorcing Offset because she didn’t want to be publicly embarrassed if he cheated on her again.

The “WAP” rapper — who filed divorce papers in Atlanta last week — said on her OnlyFans account that she left him as a preemptive act.

“I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”

In 2018, Cardi admitted that Offset had been caught on tape having sex with another woman — three months after their wedding. They broke up temporarily that year before he elaborately asked for forgiveness by crashing a concert of hers, toting roses that spelled out “Take me back Cardi” onstage.

Meanwhile, she said she’s not int...

Ruth Bader Ginsburg donated a collar to the Jewish museum of Tel Aviv

One of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s white lace jabot collars is to go on display at Tel Aviv’s Museum of the Jewish People, we’re told.

The late Supreme Court justice donated the item to the museum. Explaining why she wore the standout collars, Ginsburg told the Washington Post, “The standard robe is made for a man because it has a place for the shirt to show, and the tie.”

So she and Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female justice, “thought it would be appropriate if we included as part of our robe something typical of a woman.”

Ginsburg died on Sept. 18.

The ovine pieces by French designer Francois-Xavier Lalanne are “priced at $500,000 to $1 million each,” according to Bloomberg, and some of them have already been snatched up.

DeGeneres, 62, is also selling a Jean-Michel Basquiat work on paper and a mobile sculpture by Alexander Calder through Sotheby’s Gallery in the Hamptons.
